About Extend Global

Extend Global is a mission organization dedicated to making the Lord famous in every nation. We are unique in our ministry in that we focus on short-term missions. We wholeheartedly believe in long-term service and we encourage those we partner with to consider how God might use them further in missions. However, we believe that short-term missions is effective as a part of God’s overall strategy to use His people to reach the nations. This is our place in God’s Kingdom and it is what He has called us to do as a ministry. Our vision is to partner with those who are firmly planted on the “mission field” to maximize the effectiveness of what God is doing in that place. Simultaneously, our heart is to mobilize God’s people (everyday working people) to use their gifts and talents in accomplishing the Great Commission as described in Matthew 28:19-20. In doing this, short-term missionaries gain a greater glimpse of God’s compassionate heart for the nations to know Him personally.

As an organization, we believe that God has called us to three primary tasks:

1. Mobilize

   Mobilize short-term missionaries to the worldwide harvest fields.

2. Equip

   Equip God’s people for excellent short-term missionary service through short-term mission resources and training.

3. Inspire

   Inspire the Church by challenging and facilitating greater mission involvement.

Located in Springfield, Missouri, Extend Global has the unique opportunity to minister with and send people out in missions from all over North America. We are purposefully organized as an evangelical mission agency to work with Great Commission Christians from across the denominational spectrum. After a stint in North Africa and several years as mission mobilizers, John & Erin Tucker founded Extend Global in 2006. In November 2006, with the gracious help of a lawyer, Extend Global legally incorporated in the state of Missouri. The ministry now operates as a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) nonprofit ministry in Missouri. God continues to bless the organization with a wonderful team who has owned the vision of Extend Global from the very beginning. God continues to expand our ministry and grace us with opportunities to minister in the United States and around the world.
