Binding Simplified

Here's a great suggestion from Claire Louise Milne on the Needle Book blog about using the backing of your quilt to bind it instead of attaching separate strips of fabric:

So what you do is use the bottom panel of fabric for the binding. Fold it up and over the top and hem it in place with mitred corners.
