Making Leftover Batting Usable

Thanks to AmandaJean for her post on the Crazy Mom Quilts blog for the suggestion to piece leftover batting together to keep the scraps from going to waste! Especially, as AmandaJean points out, since batting is pretty expensive. 

I do hang on to every tiny piece of leftover fabric when I'm making a quilt, but I have to admit I don't do so well saving and using leftover batting like this. What a great idea!

hey, kacie! I've done this! I use my sewing machine with the zigzag stitch. You have to be really careful about easing it through because it can buckle.
